Bad weather cause Buddha Air Crash
Today (25-09-2011) Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) did not register the weather forecast and due to bad weather (heavy fog and rain) could have cause the Buddha Air plane crash today. The Buddha Air plane was conducted to view Mount Everest and other peaks and was returning to the Nepalese capital. Plane had carried 19 people (3 Buddha Air Crews and 16 Passengers) among them 18 were dead on the spot and 1 was dead in B&B hospital while treatment was going.
The people who have been identify as following:-
- Buddha Air crew Captain JB Tamrakar, Co-pilot Padma Adhikari, Air Hostess Asmita Shrestha and other 3 Nepali passengers were Sharada Karmacharya, Jagan Karmacharya and Nirajan Karmacharya.
- Pankaj Mehta, Chhaya Mehata, S Nagaraja, T Nagaraja, L Nagaraja, HD Nagaraja, D Jalosubrisum, DP Jalosubrisum, P Jalosubrisum, and Nagraja Talosubrisum (10 indian passengers)
- Toshinori Jehma of Japan
- US nationals Natali Nailun and Andrew Wade
